Something wise, and this can apply to art!

This is a wonderful blog entry.  Thanks Robin!  What led to this?  So often I ask my sweetheart something, her reply is "I don't know".  At times I would become frustrated with her apparent lack of a desire to speculate!  Now I have come to understand that she was being very wise, some would say Zen-like.

Happy Sunday!  I was up late last night working on photographing my paintings for submission to various galleries.  The collection clocked in at 32 paintings, and you can see them here.

Yesterday we surprised our friend Chappy by watching him finish his first ever 5K at the Cood Dog Day festival in Saluda, NC.  After that we had a craving for White Duck Taco Shop located in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC.  We checked out some of the adjacent galleries, and had a nice time.

Friday found me wrapping things up at work when I received a call from my friend Allison and the news that I could hang some paintings in the lobby of her studio located in the old Taylors Mill.  I was really excited and thankful to have my first "show" in conjunction with First Fridays art event.  While at the mill, I met some really nice artists in the studio across from Allison's, they have some really interesting work that I invite everyone to check out next First Friday.
